The series "Beyond the Shadows" reimagines seven classic fairy tales, blending their darker origins with elements of children's stories. Through research and experimentation, I explore how these tales can appeal to diverse age groups. Each illustration has its own color palette and four distinct layers that emphasize light, shadow, and depth. The layers are then cut out to form shadow boxes where viewers are invited into immersive, three-dimensional worlds. By combining traditional storytelling with innovative techniques, this project aims to spark a new appreciation for the timeless magic of fairy tales.
